La Escuela builds on the natural curiosity of our students to develop a love of learning. We follow a Montessori-style approach: to help children learn independently, retaining the curiosity, creativity and intelligence with which they were born.
Each classroom is considered the “children’s house.” The teachers prepare and maintain the physical, intellectual, and social/emotional environment within which the children will work and play. This all works together to create an environment where the kids, parents and staff feel connected and invested.

Sayulita is an idyllic seaside pueblo located in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico that draws thousands of tourists each year.
While many benefit from the tourism, most local women are employed in low-paying service jobs struggling to provide for their families in a pueblo that is growing prohibitively expensive.
Mujeres Movimiento-Sayulita was created to assist women and their children to better benefit from this tourism.
Since 1889, we have stood alongside individuals and communities facing some of the world’s most difficult challenges.
What began as a humanitarian initiative in Chicago, United States, has grown into a global organization committed to protecting human rights and advancing dignity for all. Today, we are Heartland Alliance International. An independent international organization advancing healing and justice for the world’s most vulnerable people.

Go Green Glen Ellyn is a non-profit grassroots environmental organization dedicated to helping our village become greener and its citizens live more sustainably. Together we can learn, do, and participate in everyday environmental actions that make our community more healthy, more beautiful, and more environmentally friendly for all.
